Britt was the only one who played baseball this year. It was fun to watch him in his first year of Major League.

Big Bang Theory and Fireplaces

So I'm sitting at the computer the other night and I hear this loud BANG! I turn around and Britton is standing by the fireplace and the fireplace doors have blown open and Britton is looking a little funny. I yell, "What is going on?" Jadon walks over yelling, too, and we realize that Britton has thrown an old bic lighter (dollar store version) into the fireplace.

Now it really is funny except for the fact that I walk over there and see this huge log in there and realize that the wood could have blown out, the doors could have blown off, and the whole fireplace could have blown to bits. So I am mixed with this 'gratitude it wasn't worse,' 'I'm gonna beat this kid', and 'this is hysterical' emotional roller coaster going on. I mean really, does our family have to test EVERYTHING so we can pass on "what not to do when raising children" information for all of you??!!

Football Season Begins

Kallan, Britton, and Kameron all had their first games on Saturday. It was fun to watch them play. It was a very hot day out, but they all did great! I think Kallan and Britton's teams lost in close games. Kameron's team won, but he didn't get to play very much.

Britton's Birthday

I'm a little late getting this up. We took all the birthday pictures with Mykelle's camera and then she left for school, so I've been delayed getting pictures. I finally just told Mykelle to load them from her place.

Britton's birthday was on August 9 at the Tonaquint Park. It is a park with some older kid rides on it that they loved! It was a nice hot August day, but they still had a great time. Now he's 10 and in weeblos and 4th grade!

Britton just finished up baseball, too. His team went undefeated and won their league. Britton had a great last game! He nearly had a grand slam, too, just after Kam's game where Kam hit one. Britt's coach stopped him on third. Darn it! He had two or three triples that game. He also got to pitch in one game this year. He is a pretty good ball player. It's been fun to watch him. He has been playing third base.

We're trying to find a "snow shack" so he can start selling shave ice to occupy his time and help him earn some money.
